Showcased my Hand-woven Sling Bag at Bharat Tex

One step towards achieving my dreams! I got an opportunity to showcase my hand-woven Sling Bag at Bharat Tex on 26th February 2024. It all started back to the visit at Respun in Panipat a month back wherein the interaction and story moved me and as a takeaway from the visit, Respun gave us some recycled yarn from post-consumer clothing manufactured at their base. To signify the strong and beautiful interactions with workers and owner of Respun, I decided to create a hand-weaved Sling- Bag with the yarn provided by them with a few additions of red and white organic wool to make it stand out and attached a golden vintage button to enclose it.

I thank Respun, my professors and IILM University, Gurugram for the support that I have achieved such an outcome and will look forward to more such opportunities and interactions.
